Biography
Born in California. Dan spent his formative years living in the West of Ireland. During this period he traveled the Republic of Ireland and sojourned with his family to the lands of England, Scotland, Morocco, Africa, and Spain. Later he returned to the foothills of California where he continued his artwork and gained local recognition.
Dan graduated from C.C.A. (California College of the Arts) in San Francisco with a degree in Illustration. He studied under respected artists including Barron Storey and Mark Eanes. Dan is affluent in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, etching, monotype, and graphite.
Dan's work has been published in Maximum Rock and Roll magazine, and Micropola magazine (dedicated to the fantastic characters and realms of the Micronauts). His client list includes comissioned works for B.C. Tapes, Center Repertory Co. of Walnut Creek, the rock band Vindication, and Darkfin of Duquesa Bay.
Currently residing in the city of Fairfield, California, Dan works in his home studio and enjoys time with his family and friends.
